Update Confirmed ; Hathway to add 50+ HD channels

In India we have just 50 HD channels Gopi bro. More will launch in coming days.

Yes, most of the mainstream HD channels will total up to 50 or so. But I believe the actual number is closer to 55-58 considering every single active HD channel.

Their HD offerings seem to very widely based on city. But I can't understand why they don't add one by one rather than in a big-bang way of adding new channels.

The widely beloved thought is that they're waiting for the new financial year, which has almost nothing to do with new channels.

I think the addition will happen in 2020, when there will we more than 150 HD channels in market and at that time Hathway will provide 50 HD channels.
