Other thing which made me stay with hathway was, there is always a concern about bandwidth in DTH which I hope will not be there after all the analogue channels are switched off.

No Gopi bhai, Digital Cable again have to make similar investments like DTH. They have to setup Downlink Centre as well as Headend to accommodate enough Digital Bandwidth and space.
Yes, it is easier for digital cable compared to DTH as DTH operators have to depend on transponders.

In Hyderabad We have to pay 4500 for year subscription.No more monthly charges.But no news addition of any new HD channels now.But I am sure if any new HD channels will get added in Blore they will add in Hyderabad also.But this subscription is useless in my view.
Now Hathway has introduced quarterly packages. It is Rs600/- for all the HD channels for 3 months. Yearly package is Rs2,200/-

Thanks to every one sharing all the infos and knowledge here. Its good to be having a platform like this 
I have just ordered for a Hathway HD set top box today and i should be getting it in the evening. I paid Rs.5000 for the box and for a year's subscription for HD and as Gopichand mentioned i will be paying Rs.250 every month for SD channels. The cable operator said there are 20 HD channels at the moment. Hopefully i will have a good experience with Hathway. Fingers crossed !!
