Thanks to every one sharing all the infos and knowledge here. Its good to be having a platform like this I have just ordered for a Hathway HD set top box today and i should be getting it in the evening. I paid Rs.5000 for the box and for a year's subscription for HD and as Gopichand mentioned i will be paying Rs.250 every month for SD channels. The cable operator said there are 20 HD channels at the moment. Hopefully i will have a good experience with Hathway. Fingers crossed !!

Hi Shrikanth, can you please let me know if you paid 5K for set top box + yearly subscription? I am planning to get Hathway connection and wanted to know price of set top box + subscription charges for 6 months.

1) HD STB cost = Rs2250/-
Plus
2) One year HD subscription= Rs2200/- or Rs600/- per quarter
Plus
3) Monthly SD subscription. This varies from area to area.

but sun HD channels 1ly in Sun direct till thy didnt add in SCV also...need to wait nd watch...

Its not necessary. Any MSO which have maximum reach will cater more revenue for Sun HD channels. and everyone wants money.
