HELP Hathway HD Issue

My HDS200 remote needs 3-4 seconds (or 4-5 LED blinks) between successive key press
Do you know what is the issue and how can I rectify?

How old is the remote ??? Is it a universal remote ???

It can be either of the issues:
1. battery is gone weak
2. remote has malfunctioned
3. software issue/lag that maybe the issues.

Elaborate more if possible of what is the exact issue ur facing.

Seems like a faulty remote. If changing the battery doesn't work, you need to contact your cable operator to get a new remote.

Are you using Universal remote it's working fine for me but, don't caught from long distance.
