How can you know that. Every operator have their own down linking and uplinking centre and they all kinds of tweaking in actual feeds before uplinking to their own satellites

Nope bro. I have confirmed in M Tunes case. M Tunes is available only in HD from Broadcaster. But DTH operators down scale it to make in available both in HD and SD.

we have discussed a lot about this channel..as M tunes SD channel also available.This channel also I have seen in my local cable analogue.

May be but not in case of Movies Now because they never advertised about their SD feed.

I think DTH/cable can downscale HD channel properly to fit in 4:3.............just some part will be cut..............
Just like Star sports HD3 feed is shown in Star sports 3 SD.....................viewer lose some part in SD 4:3........

Mere bhai. Videos are shot in very very high resolution. Then it is reproduced in various aspects ratio to broadcast and all this done either directly at broadcasters end or at operators level.
