HELP Hathway Skyworth Set top box (STB) difference in c7000N, c9000 and c9700N models?

1) Yes. HD STD costs Rs2299. If you want HD package, you need to buy either quarterly(Rs600) or yearly package(Rs2250) separately.

2) There are 2 HD boxes. The one that I have has one HDMI, one composite, one USB and one RJ45 port. Hathway has released a new HD STB. I am not sure if that HD STB has component out.

As you said, sometimes even I feel that there is good color saturation from analog channels than the corresponding SD channels even on HD box connected to TV through HDMI cable.

HD channels are awesome anyway.

I want to know if i buy the hathway STB from other than my local cabel guy will it work for me.

i already have the hathway STB which i bought from my cabel guy but it costed me Rs 2400.

I would like to know what are the limitation if i buy from other vendor.

If I am not wrong. you can buy hathway box from hathway directly or other vendors. The reason being you will get an account number as well as sim card will be linked to you. You will be making the payment against the account number and not to LCO when DAS packages are announced. Right now every one is getting every channel so it should not be a problem to get a box from other hathway LCOs or main office

NO Problem at all.They will check your STB at the time of installation whether ur STB having validity or not,If not simply U will give the amount(Monthly wise,or 6months wise or year wise) for the channels.
