By the way the app does not work on rooted devices. It's not working on my rooted Galaxy S3

In IRCTC Connect, Tatkal, Premium Tatkal, Ladies was not allowed. In the new app its allowed.
Also, the new app won't require login credentials all the time as they have introduced a 4 digit PIN.
And you can now file TDR which was again not allowed in IRCTC Connect.
Ohh thanks for the clarification. It's better they change the name of the old application or simply pull it from the plays tore because it must be creating confusion.
Moreover app seems nice, although haven't tried booking a ticket.
One more thing is the tatkal booking or normal booking allowed between 8-12am? Earlier I think it was barred.

Use root cloak to bypass that check
