Amitbro, so ur getting all 30+ HD channels as they have mentioned right. And see that ur signal strength and quality is high.

No I am getting only 28 HD channels. SIgnal is 100% and quality is also 100%.

UI is normal but OK. Software is fast. The remote is good. I was not liking the RF remote from Videocon. This one is a normal remote & key is easy to use. Hardware is good.

If there was Digital Cable in my area, I would throw the d2h box out of earth on some other planet for alien brothers. DTH makes me irritated now.

I said this long ago that many people are shifting back to Digital cable from DTH. Happy that I am a Digital Cable TV Subscriber. I may not get all the channels that are beamed in this nation, but I do enjoy the best of the service, and superb quality and after sales. Digital Cable is anyways better as its advantages are more.

Finally after taking feedback from DTHFORUM members, I switched from Videocon D2H HD to Hathway HD.

The STB cost = Rs. 2000, Also paid HD fee for 1 Year = Rs. 1800 (150*12). Plus 1 month rental Rs. 230.
Hence Total cost= Rs. 4030
The per month cost in my defense area is Rs. 230 for All SD channels ("Premium Plus Pack").

The picture quality is in HD is same as Videocon.
The SD quality is better than D2H for some of the channnels.
Overall I am happy now because I am getting Platinum HD pack worth Rs.590(in Videocon ) just for Rs. Rs.380 per month.
