After reports of Sandalwood star Kichcha Sudeep giving his nod for the Kannada remake of the Telugu hit Balupu, the actor has brushed off the news as false. Sudeep tweeted, "Me remaking Balupu is a false news n thr's no sch discussions either. Hope those few who carried this online got the clarity needed...cheers. (sic)." Balupu, which was released in 2013, was an action-comedy that starred Shruti Haasan and Ravi Teja in the lead.
