Yeah. They are little polite now. otherwise they have left no stone unturned to defame Hathway. I saw a hoarding too here in Mumbai regarding this.
Hathway reveals subscriber numbers for Zee channels, TDSAT fixes 25 Aug as date for final disposal of cases
The dispute between Hathway Cable & Datacom on one side and broadcasters Star and Zee-Turner on the other, to be settled by the Telecom Disputes Settlement Appellate and Tribunal (TDSAT) on 25 August, has thrown up some interesting subscriber declaration numbers by the multi-system operator (MSO).
Hathway has revealed that 2.2 million of its subscribers have taken Zee TV, the Hindi general entertainment flagship channel of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL). Zee Cinema, the second most powerful channel of ZEEL, has had an offtake of 732,418 subscribers while Pogo has had 660,278 subscribers.
Hathway submitted the subscriber report to the TDSAT on the off-take of Zee-owned Taj Television channels since 1 August. The data shows that Zee TV, Zee Cinema and Pogo are the top three most subscribed channels.
