Italian luxury scooter manufacturer Vespa has joins hands with fashion house Dior to unveil 946 Christian Dior limited scooter.
The scooter manufacturer claims that 946 Christian Dior comes with a special paint scheme designed in partnership with Dior Creative Department.
The scooter is equipped with a custom saddle and the handles are covered in blue leather.
Vespa also says the scooter gets Dior motifs and special accessories as well.
The scooter is based on classic 946, which is Vespa's flagship model.
Commenting on the scooter, Michele Colaninno, CEO of the Immsi Group and Piaggio’s Chief of Product and Marketing Strategy, said, “In these unprecedented times, it is great to be able to dream of a better future. The House of Dior opened its doors in 1946 in Paris, the same year that Vespa made its debut in Italy."
Colaninno also said, "This new Vespa 946 celebrates that anniversary and honours our heritage. Today, like yesterday, we have gone through a dark period and now we are joining forces to share some joie de vivre through a combination of style and craftsmanship. This partnership between Vespa and Dior represents a celebration of beauty.”
