However, it will also be available on free direct-to-home (DTH) platform Freedish.
Viacom18 recently got the approval of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB) to rename X Zone as MTV Beats.
The company has also acquired an additional licence to launch MTV Beats HD.
Earlier this year, Viacom18 had won a slot on Freedish. It is currently running a channel called X Zone on the pubcaster’s DTH platform.
