Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro launch has been confirmed and while the smartphone will be launched next week, there has been a lot of talk over the kind of price tag it will carry. For the unknown, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, which is going to be launched in India on February 28 and comes with a 48-megapixel primary rear camera, was introduced at CYN 999 (roughly Rs. 10,500) in China and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro, which will come with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor, was expected to be priced at roughly Rs. 15,000 or CYN 1499.

It should be noted that the 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor is also present on the company’s flagship smartphone, the Mi 9 and the above-mentioned pricing could also work wonders for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro.

To recall, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 India launch will take place on February 28 and while the smartphone is expected to be priced near the Rs. 10,000 mark, Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 was launched in China at 999 yuan (roughly Rs. 10,390) for the 3GB RAM / 32GB storage version. On the other hand, the 4GB RAM / 64GB storage and 6GB RAM / 64GB storage versions of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 were launched at 1199 yuan (roughly Rs. 12,460) and 1399 yuan (roughly Rs. 14,540), respectively.

On the other hand, previous reports have highlighted that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro might be launched with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor instead of Snapdragon 660 SoC while it might also be available in a 6GB RAM / 128GB storage option. Other than the 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor, there might not be any major upgrades over the Redmi Note 7 as well as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro is expected to follow the same design theme as that of the non-Pro version.
