Because these cricket rights cost getting more and more.So for gain that revenue broadcasters are doing like this.There is no problem for sports channels in India persons can spend even 1000 rupees for cricket.

And who is hiking this BCCI and its partner STAR SPORTS.

I am not against HD channels but I don't want thousand of HD channels if ZEE CINEMA HD shows some cricket contents then its ok otherwise launching of & Pictures HD is a big hole, I don't want another ZEE TV HD these broadcasters are not doing anything for contents but launching new channels only with same contents and charging like something special.

It all depends on the broadcaster. If you see, initially pro Kabaddi league was coming on Star Sport2 & Star Gold. Since the league started getting popular, they started telecasting on Star Sports HD2 and now it is being telecasted on all Star network regional channels as well.

That is what I am saying bro.Because of this putting cap on ads broadcasters launching new channels with same content for revenue only.finally customers has to suffer to pay more.Even broadcasters think also differ from company to company.MSM not even intrested in launching their main channel MAX in HD saying HD channel business is not profitable in India at present where as Zee has launched 2nd movie channel &Pictures HD to get revenue more.

We must say it is BCCI hiking price any ways there is more demand there is more cost.BCCI expecting more money because demand also more from this sport.Now players also thinking cricket is one of business they can get more money and heroines.Our Cricket god Tendulkar also has time to attend public functions and mall openings where as he doesn't have any time to visit parliament.these are other side of sport.
