News Will offer channels on RIO henceforth, Star tells TDSAT

[DashMajor]

Take Ten golf, it was charged rs.200 pm(SD Channel ) initially and found no takers which lead to fall in the price and found way into the base packages.

But almost all events available in full screen.

But you should credit TAJ that they don't buckling TEN GOLF because still TEN GOLF dealing individually with operators TAJ not selling it.

[DashMajor]

I wish I cud have a package in Tata Sky without Star Sports channels.

But TATA(SKY will never replace TEN SPORTS with STAR SPORTS

[IndianMascot]

Yeah. Tata Sky Will always be problematic.

[SUNIEL]

DEN is STAR India's Network so only worry is for Siti Cable.

Nope, in article its clear that star has no more share in den (officially)

[Gopichand Pai]

MSOs are screwed thanks to Hathway. See the today's order on TDSAT website

http://www.tdsat.nic.in/Order'sFol/10.09.2014/PNo.335(C)of14.htm

"In reply to certain queries made by us in reference to the statement made in paragraph-3 of the affidavit, Mr.Saikrishna, counsel appearing for M/s Star India Pvt. Ltd., on instructions received from duly authorized officers present in court, stated that in DAS notified areas any new interconnect agreement with any MSOs operating under a national license or a regional/local license would only be on the basis of the RIO of M/s Star India Pvt. Ltd. and would not enter into any interconnect agreement in the DAS areas with anyone on fixed fee or on CPS basis for a period of one year."

[IndianMascot]

What a stupid judgement. Completely baised and clearly dominating.

[DashMajor]

Now everything of STAR is ala carte

To enjoy STAR channels we MSO users have to pay Rs. 10 to Rs. 20 each + Tax + Monthly subscription

[scorpionking76]

So Cable rates are heading North... One thing is Star has settled scores with hathway with RIO, what will happen to Turner? when it is going to get over?

[SUNIEL]

So when is final hearing and last verdict?

[IndianMascot]

I wish every verdict has similar judgement and every MSO boycott Star and whosoever and presurrize govt to switch analog signal back.

The movement go so intense that MIB is forced to cease the broadcasting rights of Star Network
