I always said that tata sky users r very optimistic.

It not about time and number of Dish alignment. It's all about the money and manpower involved in it.

Airtel took one and half year to realign something around 8 to 9 million dishes.

Now Tata Sky is having something around 12-13 million subscribers. So it will not only take huge time but big investment too for this activity

If TS has plans to shift to new satellite, they should stop MPEG4 migration now. It will be overhead for technicians to visit every house twice - now for providing MPEG4 box and another one later for dish alignment

But they can still survive with MPEG 4 and even for future prospective start Dish alignment simultaneously so that Technician comes at once in this way they not only concludes the remaining 50 % Migration but also 50 % Dish Alignment.
