Anirudha Bro, point no 2. Signals will be affected at broadcasters centre ??? Well many broadcasters have high powered backup generators, and many other backup facilities, so signal loss from their end is not possible. And MSO too have backup facilities. What my society has done is we have asked the LCO to install boosters and amplifiers and most of the flats have UPS/Inverters hence we can say no power loss.

HD -prices r very very cheap in MSOs. Agree but HD prices varies according to Operators.
Rs 300-350 for all SD/HD channels.

Multiroom - the prices of multiroom r very very low as compare to DTHs.
How much ? All DTH charges 200 for secondary connection.
Many places since DAS is not yet implemented its Rs 100 for muttiroom. And in some areas its completely free for 2nd tv.

channels addition - channels addition is very fast as compare to any DTHs.
Its varies according to operators and their wish. STAR SPORTS HD 3, 4 didn't launched in MSO but in DTHs.
Hathway has already added SS HD 3 and SS HD 4 in Mumbai. Other MSO like IMCL/DEN will add by this week

Such things varies city wise, area wise too.

Any day I would prefer DTH over Digital Cable for the simple reason DTH gives me flexibility of choosing packages

In our area LCO has already changed MSO signals thrice and used 3 different STB's

In DAS too there is flexibility, there are a la carte, sub packs, add on packs, pay per channel, different packages, language packs, HD packs. etc.

In non DAS areas, there is only one option, pay a particular amount and get all channels.:)

Our area comes under DAS, but everybody is paying same amount and receiving all the channels at the moment.
