Picture goes away in this STB. Only blank screen can be seen. Sound as well. Each time this happens one has to restart the STB. Sometime sound goes away and picture stays, in this situation as well one has to restart the STB. Have just logged STB complaint on their website.

this happens when you the change the channels frequently bro?
Sometimes with what you have mentioned. But mostly it seems like hardware is not capable processing efficiently. And changing from SD to HD channel is like moving a big job for STB. Either they are on less efficient processor or less primary memory.

the software has made the processor pretty slow in the latest version. The RAM is the culprit here.

Better you opt for UHD box like many
I am quite after some time d2h themselves will start selling UHD box to everyone either he UHD TV, FHD, HD Ready or CRT
