yes..bro.we all are agreeing this.but it doesn't mean that these channels launched only for sports.

Not for sports but backup for sports.

launching season wont depend on sports as these channels are permanent channels.they have their own strategies on this accordingly they will launch them.

Of course but for broadcaster who holds mega events rights will definitely not wants to divide viewership by launching a new channel.

They launched 3 channels last year. Sony PIX HD just before Fifa WC, Sony Max 2 after World Cup and PAL at August - Sept. why not during IPL or Fifa WC. We all was expecting AXN HD launch later that year but it didn't launched why ?

if they have that much rights of sports they can launch full fledged sports channels only bro.yes..i am agreeing that they want some back up sports channels also but what i want to say is..their main concern is movies only but not sports.they can't launch movies channels for the sake of some sports.get my point.

they launch the channels in either during second or third quater and launchung two HD channels might not be viable for all the ops.

Yeah definitely and my point is Sony PIX HD is imp channel then AXN HD for MSM in India.
