A 62-year-old woman was killed allegedly by her son for the delay in serving food in Ramnagra village under Haliapur police station area here, police said on Friday.

Accused Chandrashekhar Pandey (30) hit his mother Indumati on the head in a fit of rage as she delayed serving food to him, killing her on the spot, police said.
