Dude sorry man u totally got it wrong, i myself purchased a 4K tv LG UB850T please go and check the specifications of the TV and BTW HDMI 2.0 supports 4K@60p that is mandatory and
regarding the firmware u talking jumps from 2.0 HDMI to 2.0a which supports HDR. Please go do a proper google search and get into details. What you posted is seriously wrong info. HDMI 1.4 VERSION TV ARE 2013 GENERATION.

Many TV from Samsung,LG support HDMI 2.0 and all those TV are from 2014.
I did my research for nearly 2months when i was buying 4K TV.
