According to a report in the Hindustan Times, it was Rajasthan Royals' legspinner Pravin Tambe who was approached by one of his Mumbai Ranji Trophy team-mates ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 to help fix matches. However, name of the player who made the approach is still not clear.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) did not reveal the player's name who was approached or who approached him and kept the matter confidential.

No one to be believed in cricket administration fraternity. Friends becomes foes and vice versa. It's high time to keep business men and politicians out of sports and all retired sports persons come as administrators.
