Agree but pricing of even a source of entertainment can't be just over the top. There has to bs some set of rules, no one would like to pay Rs. 500 for a thing which should cost Rs. 20 or 50.

Broadcasters earn heavily thru ads so do not worry, our subscription revenue does not account for more than 10 percent of the total revenue

poor OM bro jara socho..dhimaag ladaao.Al;ready we are paying more for SD channels which I dont want to see for the sake of HD channels.There is no HD base pack availalbe so we are paying for SD channels also.Second thing there is no right for you about my decisions to pay how much for a channel which is purely my decision.I am rich or poor which is non of your business.If I say I can pay I lakh per channel do you mind it??

the broadcasters decide on their own and even the TRAI is not taking care of it. i would prefer the amount to be max rs.50.

I am also ready to pay rs.500, at top rs.800 for quality HD channels rather than SD channels which i dont even watch.

How do you define that thing price should be 20 only??are you a finance minister??
