I guess once IndianMascot made a thread where he found Mega HD 1 month pack cost more then the actual sum in terms of 12 month we pays.

Yes. even if you ask their officials, they don't have any valid proof or information regarding monthly charges of Mega HD pack.

if u can compromise with hd channels then u must go with adtv as adtv is very economical.

Plus points of adtv - cheapest n best pq n aq.
Minus points - less hd channels n it ll take atleast a year to add all the remaining hd channels.

Are you sure remaining HD channels will come ?

Also, Tata's Mega HD Pack has upto 358 channels whereas ADTV has upto 181 channels ? Those 177 channels which ADTV is missing are lame/faltu channels ?

Choose TS as it has the best s/w, h/w, customer Support and all the required hd channels. Only downside is non availability of ten channels in base packs and its hd access policy.

I don't think I was going to buy base packs anyway. But after listening to you guys I feel I must consider buying individual packs.

No one have a quality infront of Tata Sky but if one going with normal HD STB then Tata Sky is no special.

I do need record feature. But if I compare, Tata Sky HD + Transfer is Rs 9,300 and Airtels HD Recorder is Rs 4400. What am I missing here ? Why is Tata double in price ? I don't want to watch the recorded stuff on my mobile.

Moreover, I feel that Airtels HD+ is much better . I have a 4 TB external HDD and I can use that. Am I wrong in assuming that ?

i think adtv has more sd channels as it has neo cricket n prime also which tata does not have.
if u can wait for 1 year then go with adtv as adtv ll b having a lot of space within the next 1 year.
adtv is better in terms of pq n aq than tata sky.

or if u do not want to take a chance than surely go 4 tata sky as tata is having currently almost all the hd channels.

its only 180 rs for the 12 months. so it won't make any effect.
