By the way, end to end encryption is available only in secret chat option.
WhatsApp is having this feature by default.

End to End encryption meas only the sender and receiver will be able to read the message in plain text. Not even WhatsApp can read it in plain text, unless they decrypt it.

The key is number assigned to each user that no one can use it in middle by, say after scanning QR code on the WhatsApp. The Key has to be verified to get access to or log into it.

First you have to go to web.whatsapp.com
You will see a QR code there.
Now go to WhatsApp app select WhatsApp Web from the option which comes above right corner. Camera opens with instruction what to do. The instruction is you have to just scan the QR code of browser the phone vibrates and you get access to WhatsApp
