Finally after using Tata Sky HD+ for a couple of weeks i am here to share my small and personal review of Tata Sky.
PS : As i have previously used Videocon d2h. So, most of the comparison will be with it.
Hardware :
Cons : Tata Sky HD+ Box is quite Big in size and bulky too. It seems to be even thicker than my LG Blu Ray Player.
Pros : But seems to be very reliable and better quality. Never got heated, never hanged till now.
Remote :
Cons : After using a Universal Remote, I am finding it quite difficult to cope with Tata Sky Non-Universal Remote. It took me half an hour to explore how to watch recorded content via PLAN button.
Pros : But I must say Tata Sky Remote is lighter, elegant designing and simple. Sensor is quite strong and never had to press button twice for a function.
Ports :
Cons : I wish USB Port in the front panel too and inbuilt Wi-Fi.
Pros : All required and future require ports are available. Working Ethernet Port in new feature which i am yet to experience.
Note : Instead of Dual Cable, I have got a splitter installed for Dual Recording.
Picture Quality :
Cons : Picture Quality of Non Star Network HD channels look inferior.
Pros : SD channel quality is average. Neither good nor Bad. Colour look more natural in HD channels.
Audio Quality :
Cons : Audio is not equal in all channels. In some channels it goes High whereas in some channel it goes low.
Pros : Sound Quality of HD channels are too Good and I really enjoy it unlike previous operator.
And This is the Complete Setup of my Home Entertainment
