Yes, actually they send sms to user after 24 july so minimum 30 days require to replace all tamil region stb. Suppose there are 1000 local dealer office of ts [500 for cities in india, in big cities there are 3 to 10 local dealer office, so 1000 is apprx. Figure] lets see they are replacing 20 stb per day then 60k stb per month in pan india so for 5 lakh stb/60k per month = 8 month so ts will shift all channels on mpeg4 in max. 8 months i.e. In april

Quality is ok .cant notice any change.but when u change any othr channel picture come a moment late.

That's a not a problem it happens when u change from m4 to m2 or vice versa.

TS has succesfully moved its 1st Regional channel to MPEG 4...

We need to have some patience they cant change all the 19 Tamil channels....many users STBs needs to be replaced...it would take some time...
