Government should make compulsory to add 32 educational channels like All DD channels so that DTH can add it

DTH operators will argue that their bandwidth is limited and if they need to add these channels then govt should give additional space or give them some tax benefits. Nobody here is doing charity. Govt has given license and it is also earning good amount of revenue in terms of Taxes from DTH operators.

Why DTH asking money for this kind of good channels this is the important channels for my children if it s added I will take dishtv for sure everything is for money nothing for social service oh god this is money nature

One option can be to include all these channels on DD Freedish and sharing the telecast of these channels through all operators. By doing so bandwidth will also be saved and operators will be able to air through their respective dth.

These education channels are on GSAT 15 @ 93.5 E. All other DTH operators needs to re-transmit from their operating satellite and hence it will consume their bandwidth

We end users get everything from Satellite, even if DTH operator uses their data servers it has to be relayed through satellite for us to view it.

These are FTA channels. DTH operators usually charge carriage fees to add FTA channels on their platform. If Govt is firm in getting these channels added on all DTH platforms they can do it even without giving a penny, they have to be very strict with these operators

Its not Dishtv promotion but still these channels being provided by Dishtv in all packs

Dishtv atleast providing these channels free of cost in all packs.
If there was Tata Sky, it would take minimum Rs.20 per channel
So 640 rupees for 32 channels
