EntMnt Xclusive DDD+ is introducing CAS with MPEG4 -DVBS2

DDD+ has called Tenders for the implimentation of CAS system and will increase the Channel count to 97 .

Seems it's only to count the active subscribers..... Probably a study to identify its subscribers. They can even use the report to shut DDD+? Government is already in a mood to privatize many, and having all these commercial private DTH's; why not....

Atleast they free up those space and lease it to some dths.....? what u all say....

Well i think DD is also needs some money.. Those STB s r not free and one who wants those channels has to buy Decoders by paying to DD.

How can Dish TV get benefitte? They r using MPEG2 DVBS , so their STB will not able to recieve the signals of MPEG4 DVBS2 and decode them... actually this is a draw back for them.
