Now for me the HD Access fee looks irrelevant . TS has moved away from their policy of offering HD Channels by subscribing HD access fee . They already made M Tunes HD as ala carte but added in heigh Base packs makes the balance . They might offered for Star World SD and offer Star World to heigher base packs itself. I think the same will happen once they add Ten HD . They cant choose either Ten Sports or Ten Cricket Channel as SD to have the TEN HD Channel. Only few HD likes of CNBC HD , Travel HD or same like channels .

Rs 100. In excitement of showing advertisement of watch America's greatest show along with America, they forget that their target audience is Indians.

I think this is very bad strategy implementing Channels,Every Premium channel is almost Rs.100+.Then how ordinary people can bear the cost.HBO has introduced this and I think that cost is not at all worth for those channels.All are repeated movies so why we should pay that much of money for these channels.And for serials 100 rupees cost is too much.who will watch these serials with this must of cost????a big doubt.same applicable to the new channel Romedy now also.

If there is no advertisement then they have to generate revenue from somewhere else i.e. channel subscription. I think this is the reason for such high price along with decline rupee value against $.

Not really.Now HD channels are running with add less or with less adds.These channels are marketing them self as Premier channels and they have premier content but HBO has proved it is wrong.HBO premium channels having the same movies what HBO has but still HBO is charging more charge for their fake Premium channels.

I don't know about HBO premium channel's programming, all I heard was it is ad-free, and some exclusive HBO content (Game of Thrones, I think Entourage too) for Indian audience.
SWPremiere on the other hand has a major list of popular TV shows, I guess there would be a high demand initially.

But 100, p.m? No, I would stick to my torrents. That's ad free and also Premium content

Benefit only for Channel broadcasters and channels.Not for customers.Even I also strongly recommended HBO premium channels initially but I strongly disappointed after watching the content.They are repeating the same movies in Weekend also.So what is the use of Premium channels??
