The PIL filed by 12 Rajput leaders had sought appointment of an expert committee consisting of historians and members of the Rajput community to screen the film. The argument was that this committee can determine whether the film contained any scenes that lowered the dignity of Rani/Sati Padmavati.

Film is very well releasing except Rajasthan.
if film does not defame rajasthani culture then it should be released in rajasthan too but if it is defaming then it must not be released et al.
anyhow bhansali is a marwadi and obviously rajasthani too then i think he might understand rajasthani culture as well.
In MP, UP and bihar rajasthanis are in big numbers. if film is defaming our culture then it will not be released in all these 4 states.
