Yeah they already got the STB long back. They call it DTH on WiFi as u can see no LAN cable is connected it works wireless

Why ??? with 50Mbps minimum speed will it have any issues ??? What if a customer wants to install the router in the center of the house while his TV is at the side, installing a LAN cable that long will spoil his house looks.
Or what if he wants to use the STB in his room TV while router is in the main hall ???
It's not always about the speed. If the IPTV is wireless connected, the it will add latency which isn't good for streaming. WiFi can be unstable if many networks are present. Your WiFi bandwidth will be chocked and you won't be able to use internet over WiFi properly.
What does a customer do for dth? Don't he get a wire from terrace to his TV?

Or if he is hell bent on not having ethernet Cable running around his house, then she'll out some money for power line ethernet which jio is going to sell along with other stuff.

So from the living room to the bedroom the person will take a long Ethernet cable ??? His house will look messed up with the wire.
In DTH the cables are outdoor where they will drill a hole and bring it in closest to the TV so it doesnt look dirty, here the picture is different.
