restore pictures on android

I am using Samsung , yesterday, I didn't know what went wrong when I updated my phone , after the phone was updated , i found some photos was deleted on my phone . I remember I backed up these photos on computer , but now , i don't know where the backup files are, so I came to ask for help ...
