A family in Jabalpur had a pleasant surprise when the new-born baby girl who was declared dead by the physicians soon after birth, returned to life just as the family was about to cremate the infant on Sunday evening.
The incident, however, sent the locals into tizzy, as many termed it a miracle.
Sonu wife of Akash Maratha, a resident of Hanumantaal in Jabalpur was admitted to Mannulal Trust hospital for delivery on Saturday. The woman gave birth to a baby girl on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.
Soon after the birth of a baby girl, the physicians declared the girl dead. The hospital handed the girl for last rites.
