Its just a calculation.. only expected life and not confirmed... It may carry on for 2-3 more years if Power is enough ... there r many instances a sat which was Expected life finished and Active for few more years...

If satellite stopped working suddenly.
There is no replacement on same orbit then what tatasky going to do....

Will users loss all channels from that sat?

That may occur in and for any sats in the orbit even its new... just remember how Sun Direct suffered few years ago ...
