A 10-storey building which is being planned to be erected within a record time of 48 hours will be ready by this evening, a company official claimed. "We are on target in assembling the building, having an area of over 25,000 square meters. By 4:30 pm today, the project should be completed," a spokesman of the Mohali based company said.
The building will not be completed fully within the 48 hours dead line which is only for raising the physical structure, he added. He said, various works, including air conditioning, installation of lighting appliances and making toilets etc functional will be taken up later.
"No time frame has been fixed for completion of these works," he said in reply to a question, adding, only the ground floor will be some what functional. "The furnishing of upper nine floors will also be undertaken later on," he added. He said that nine floors have been completed and work was going on to put in place the last floor.
