Nearly 3,000 primary school teachers on contract failed to clear competency tests twice in Bihar and will be sacked following the Patna High Court order, officials said here on Friday.

"The state government will follow the high court order and remove within a week all those primary school teachers who failed to clear the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) twice," said an official of the education department.

The high court on Thursday directed the education department's principal secretary to inform all such teachers who failed to clear the test twice that they will be sacked within a week.

These sort of stunt won't help Nitish win election this year.

He and Lalu are responsible for all this mess.

Students with good parents here are very successful. They can crack almost any exam.
They are hard working. Either be IIT or UPSC, students from Bihar get it.

But coming back to a student with weak financial situation, which is majority, they can never get good education, because their parents can't afford good teachers or private schools, so majority of students who copy in state exams come from weak financial background, and since they cannot afford a good teacher and school, they are left for nothing but copying.

These students know what to pursue and concentrate right from the class 10 and go for special classes to crack the IIT and JEE.

Yes. There is a Super -30 classes in Patna. It is run by a mathematician, almost 25-28 students out of 30 crack the IIT from that institute every year.
All those 30 students come from financially poor background.
They don't charge anything for education and food.
But only 1 such institute exist here, which is not enough.

More institution needs to come up and i have seen an institution in Hyderabad where the students are packed into a classroom like a herd of sheep for IIT,JEE and CAT exams training.
