Yes because till now News 18 was not covering Punjab hence ZEE was the only channel for 3 States.
BTW I believe Himachal regional should club with UP/UK channels and should not club with Punjab/Harayana
True Punjab & Haryana is fine but Himachal merged with it instead of Up/UK. But they already have got the liscens for News 18 Punjab as a separate channel

But I don't think any individual Punjabi channel can survive due to Badal's monoplay, ABP unable to launch Sanjha & yet Punjab not have enough Entertainment channels, Zee convert entertainment to news & shutdown ETC Punjabi.

True it was Bcoz of Badals that Zee had to convert entertainment to a news channel that too shared with HP & Haryana. Zee already has a Punjabi channel Runing in UK and US. 11th March results will tell,If Badals are out of power only then we can see many Punjab only channels coming up.
