Apart from the fact that it changed its CEO (Rick Osterloh was replaced today by Aymar de Lencquesaing), Motorola Mobility has been pretty quiet this year, and didn't announce any new products. However, the company, which is now a Lenovo subsidiary, suggested that we should soon see new Moto X, Moto G, and Moto E handsets.

One of the upcoming Moto X phones seems to be called Moto X3. This name is showing up in a listing over at Zauba - a website that tracks imports and exports to and from India. The website is listing the device as "Motorola Moto X3", though the "Motorola" branding is unlikely to be used on the final product, being replaced with "Lenovo". Apparently, what we have here is a 5-inch, single SIM GSM phone - and that's all we know about it (for now).

The X3 moniker confuses us a bit: while Motorola has various Moto X handsets (the latest being the Moto X Pure Edition), there was never a Moto X2. Still, in the past, Zauba revealed the names of various unannounced smartphones, so we're inclined to believe that this Moto X3 is real.

Earlier this week, we heard about two other unreleased Moto smartphones: XT1700 and XT1706 (of course, these are just model numbers, not retail names). The two handsets, possibly part of the Moto E series, should offer features like 5-inch 720p displays, quad-core MediaTek processors, 2 GB of RAM, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow. At the moment, we don't know how the Moto X3 compares to the XT1700 and XT1706, but we hope we're going to find out soon.

Lenovo-owned Motorola is reportedly working on a new smartphone called the Moto X3. The device was recently spotted in a listing on Zauba, an Indian based import/export logistics website.

According to the listing, the device will be called the Motorola Moto X3 featuring a 5-inch display and will be a single SIM GSM phone. The device could also be the first Motorola smartphone to carry a Lenovo-Moto branding.

Other key specification such as display resolution, processor, RAM, storage and cameras have not yet been revealed. Though we expect these details to emerge soon as the company will reportedly be unveiling a high end Moto X later this year, along with the new entry level Moto E and a mid-range Moto G.

Last week, two Motorola E series models -- XT1700 and XT1706 were also spotted onGFXBench. Both devices shared similar specifications with a 5-inch HD display, MediaTek quad-core processors bundled with 2GB of RAM and running the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
