5 More Tamil movies also wants to premier in DTHs. Of course it is purely depending Vishwaroopam Success.These movies are Karthi Alex pandian,Rajinikanth's Kocchadian,Vikrams "I",Vijay and Ajiths upcoming movies.
Already having talks for Alex pandian which is releasing on Jan 12th,Kocchadian will be come in DTHs,2D format.

Rajinikanth to follow the footsteps of Kamal Hassan!



Kamal Hassan's path-breaking decision to release a film on DTH seems to have given motivation to many including Rajinikanth. The Ulaganayagan's much-awaited Vishwaroopam, which will be directly released on DTH on January 10, has now inspired the makers of Kochadaiyaan to follow the same footsteps as the superstar's forthcoming movie is also likely to release on DTH format.

The buzz says that the movie bosses of Kochadaiyaan are also toying with the idea of releasing the film in DTH. As the DTH service providers are enthusiastic about this innovative idea, the makers are planning to release in the never-heard format. It is reported that the DTH release would be a profitable for both producers and service providers and it helps to control piracy. Hence, they are thinking about releasing the film in Tamil Nadu over DTH.

However, the only concern for the movie bosses is that Kochadaiyaan is a 3D cinema, which is made with a huge budget, and releasing on DTH format would not give a good experience of watching at homes. Nonetheless, nothing has been confirmed and Rajinikanth is yet to give his nod for the release of Kochadaiyaan on DTH
