An acid attack victim Sonali Mukherjee who inspired Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan on KBC with her courage, tied the knot with an electrical engineer on Thursday.
Her husband Chittaranjan Tiwari hails from Jamshedpur and works at a plant in Odisha. He learnt about Sonali after she appeared in the media demanding a job from the government and also shared the screen with Amitabh Bachchan on Kaun Banega Crorepati.
Seeing her confidence, Chhittaranjan extended a friendship proposal to her on Facebook, which she readily accepted and in no time, the couple fell for each other, he said.
Both entered a court marriage in Bokaro on Thursday.
