Is FDI and Hathway same ?

Hathway is the main company (parent company) which has its operation in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Blore, Hybad, etc.

Hathway has many subsidiaries that also operate in many cities which are owned by the parent company.

In some places Hathway is in a JV, alliance/affiliation.

Both GTPL and FDI are a JV and are subsidiaries of Hathway.

In some areas GTPL and FDI are independent, like they sign own agreement with broadcasters, hence u must have seen the channels that go off air or are blocked by hathway are not blocked by these MSO.

In GTPL/FDI, the headend and channels are operated by hathway
while STB, customer services, and operations are managed by themselves.

Means all the backend work is handled by hathway, and frontend is handled by GTPL/FDI
hence they are allowed to have their own brand, and little autonomy in some areas.

But overall these MSO are controlled by hathway as they are its subsidiaries.

Exactly, even I am thinking in same lines. The ad only talks about dth business and not about payment issues.
