Animax Broadcast Japan announced today on March 22 that its anime satellite television network Animax's 20th anniversary title Akanesasu Shojo (Glowing Red Girl) will be produced as a TV anime series and a smartphone app. The TV anime will be aired on Animax, ANIMAX on PlayStation
, and terrestrial stations across Japan. The app can be played free of basic charge.
While no details of the plot has been revealed yet, the tagline reads, "I/Watashi (me) meet Me/Kanojo (her), then I say goodbye to Nichijo (everyday life)/Sekai (world).
