Is there anyone who owns both hotstar premium and chromecast? If yes can you please check if you are able to stream live channels on chromecast.

I have both.but i can only stream news channels to Chromecast.

I don't have premium subscription but same here.

Hotstar has restricted cast both on Airtel and Jio networks.

I can watch all channels of hotstar live on mobile but when i stream using Chromecast it just displays hotstar start-up screen.

Had it confirmed on twitter. They block casting for channels irrespective of the subscription.
