MUMBAI: It was on 6 May 2014 that Multi Screen Media (MSM) received two licences from the Information and Broadcasting Ministry (I&B). The aim was to increase its high definition (HD) offering to its viewers. The licences obtained were for AXN HD and SET HD.
Amidst the cricketing extravaganza, the network today announced the launch of AXN HD which will go live on 6 April 2015.
Talking about the launch Sony Pix and AXN EVP and business head Saurabh Yagnik says, “We have introduced a whole new strong line up of shows that will be available on both our SD as well as HD feed. While the scheduling for the two channels will be the same, we might tweak the shows for our HD audiences.”
