Back to Basic –from Yo Yo to yaaden yaad aatii hai

Gurgaon -After the recent terrorist attacks on Indian music by Honey Singh, Mikka, Himesh & BAADSHAH with totally nonsensical lyrics & utter loud & lousy music, tracks like Hooka Bar, Fevicol see, Chennai Express… Chaar bottle vodka, Maine pee nehi hai & many more there has been a dearth of good melodious music to our ears. With Radio FM channels full of advertisements there has been a dearth of good soothing music. The space has been now targeted by few music channels & others are following suit.

I am amazed to see the all new show in Pepsi MTV Indies “Indie Pop”. 8 AM to 9 AM. Revisiting those glorious iconic tracks from Indie Pop which made it to the history. Up scaling to HD resolution it was pure sin!!!

Few channels which are early movers are Masti, MIX, B4U, 9X Jalwa & recent to join the band wagon is MTV.

90’s is way back again, even fewer new movies have started recapturing the original tracks & re working to add to their movie sequence.

It would be wonderful if we can have few channels like Masti, Mix & B4U in HD

Do we see a slow death of the noisy musician from here on … it’s rightly said life goes in a concentric & few things return back

There was a time when eating ours was considered upmarket & fun which even today is!!!. More commercialization, exotic food… imported groceries rich food. Hmm again we have started revisiting their roots.

Organic, natural foods are in, fried to air fried. Gluten free diet. Carbonated sugary drinks to healthy juices Now we have exclusive dine out serving healthy foods only.

So be it music, be it life we all are going back to basic

I second you sunnysep1, we are going back to our roots, esp in terms of foods. I just like my good old traditional food rather than pizza, burger and other fast food items, Soon we might see the markets are flooded with organic food items
The music is going through a revolution and soon we might hear raagas or contemporary musics fusioned with the old tracks.
