News BARC: Zee Telugu is top Telugu GEC, Sun TV leads the pack in Tamil

Zee Telugu is the top channel in Andhra Pradesh while Sun TV continues its dominance in Tamil Nadu, BARC data for the week ended 24 April shows. In the Tamil, Bengali and Marathi regional-language general entertainment channel (GEC) space, BARC data shows no change in the top pecking order from the earlier rating system under TAM. Gemini, a Sun TV Network channel, does not figure in the top three Telugu GEC space. Star Jalsha leads in the Bengali market while Zee Marathi is a clear winner in the Marathi GEC space.

Its a fight between Zee and Star in all 3 markets, Sun dominating in Tamil region massively still good to see Zee in 3 rd spot without making much efforts

BTW what about Kannada Deepu Bro. ?

I think Kannada industry made their own world from dubbing movies to the rating system is not allowed in Kannada industry.

But what locally you founds about Kannada channels which ones are in Top 3 ?

Udaya TV is still No 1 as they have loyal customer base

ETV Kannada & Suvarna keeps fighting for 2nd & 3rd Spot

Zee Kannada is in 4th place
