The three television channels of the scam-struck Saradha Group will be auctioned. In a bid to return money to creditors who invested in the ponzi schemes of the Saradha Group in West Bengal, the commission set up by the state government has suggested auction of the channels.

The commission chaired by Justice (Retd.) Shyamal Sen has given the go-ahead to auction Tara Muzik, Tara News and Tara Punjabi, which is operated by Broadcast Worldwide, a Saradha Group company. Justice Sen also said that 16 bungalows and flats of the Saradha Reality Group would be given to those owners who have made part payments.

“Three channels of the Saradha group having 160 employees will be auctioned to repay dues,” Sen told reporters here. Sen added that over 200 cars of the Saradha Group, which were seized, will also be auctioned to raise funds.
