Some websites target job seekers and trying to deduce them by giving false hopes that they would place you in the company with the help of internal teams and prepare you for the interview. Would ask you to pay the money upfront without a time to think and pressurize you. Had a similar experience and once i questioned them the lady on the other side argued and disconnected the call.
