FDI infusing is good and it will work profusely. The best example for DTH segment is tatasky. 1000 crores infused by parent and conversion from Mpeg2 to mpeg4 completed.

As scorpionking76 said, the one who has money make the policy. So, once FDI is there there is hardly any control of government and no doubt huge funding goes to government too for making such policies and opening gate for international players.

But nothing of that sort will happen they will sideline the Indian firm and will established their own firm

Under FDI you cannot establish your own Sanjeev bro. You need a local partner to start business to bring in funds so they cannot sideline. Also there will be cooling off period in agreement when they exit the business. Eg:- Hero Honda, ESPN Star Sports, etc...
